Full Stack Developer, Investly (Java/React)

Location: Toronto office at 483 Bay Street, moving to the Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway in approximately late 2026; flexible hybrid schedule with remote, hybrid, and in-office options. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Total annual cash compensation, including base salary and target performance bonus: $99,000–$149,000 CAD.

What you will do

• Design, develop, enhance, modify, and maintain Java and React applications and software solutions.
• Translate business and systems requirements into practical technical implementations and innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with internal users, peers, and business partners to deliver projects and new products and services.
• Apply Agile and DevSecOps practices to deliver quality products predictably and consistently.
• Develop unit tests, maintain product quality, and complete installation and maintenance documentation.
• Interact with users to define system requirements, demonstrate products, collect feedback, and implement improvements.

Requirements

• Strong planning, software implementation, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to drive consensus among stakeholders.
• Understanding of non-functional requirements, including security, performance, and data management.
• Experience implementing both user interfaces and APIs.
• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, or hybrid/native mobile development.
• Experience interfacing with back-end applications using MQ, SOAP, RESTful services, and JSON.
• Experience with MySQL or similar SQL-based database systems and Java application development.
• Experience with React or another modern JavaScript framework, JIRA, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS or other cloud solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and clearly understand technical details.
