DevOps Engineer (Cloud/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage multi-cloud Azure and AWS infrastructure alongside on-premises environments using Terraform, Bicep, and Ansible.
• Operate, scale, and optimize VMware vSphere, Proxmox VE, and internal private-cloud compute platforms.
• Deploy and manage Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters for scalable microservices and AI/data workloads.
• Standardize container packaging, deployment strategies, and runtime security across Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Design, build, and optimize GitLab CI/CD and Argo CD pipelines while improving developer build and deployment environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, perform root-cause recovery, and apply security practices across the application and infrastructure lifecycle.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on production experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Platform Engineering.
• High ownership, automation, architecture simplification, and effective performance under pressure.
• Advanced Linux proficiency, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Debian.
• Hands-on production experience architecting and managing Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services environments.
• Hands-on expertise with VMware ESXi/vCenter and Proxmox VE, including KVM/LXC.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes clusters, and Docker.
• Deep experience with Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, and shell or system scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Proven experience with GitLab CI/CD or Argo CD, plus practical knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, ingress routing, firewall rules, and core SQL/NoSQL database administration.

Nice to have

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, RHCE, or RHCSA.
• CKA, CKAD, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified SysOps, or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
