SC Cleared Test Manager (Data Migration)

Location: Hybrid in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle upon Tyne, Edinburgh, or Belfast, United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Write the programme Test Strategy, Test Approach, and Test Plan.
• Plan and manage the testing workstream, including scope, resources, schedules, estimates, budgets, milestones, deliverables, and dry runs.
• Validate migrated datasets for completeness, accuracy, integrity, structure, and expected loading through data pipelines.
• Design and execute data migration test scenarios, reconciliations, and testing for complex data-driven user interfaces.
• Coordinate stakeholders, vendors, and customers on status reporting, defect triage, issue resolution, risks, and planning gaps.
• Ensure SDLC adherence, high-quality documentation, test execution, results recording, phase sign-off, and RAID management.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Test Management experience.
• Active SC Clearance is required.
• Strong experience in data-heavy system testing, particularly data migration validation.
• Experience testing enterprise or COTS platforms hosted in cloud environments.
• Experience leading testing on a project and managing testing milestones and deliverables.
• Solid understanding of the test lifecycle, defect management, test case management, test status reporting, and investigation of UAT and other test-cycle issues.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and technical documentation and engage with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• ISTQB or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to manage transitions and handovers in a multivendor environment.
• Some experience developing a CI/CD and/or test automation approach.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with KISTERS WISKI or similar environmental or observability systems.
• Experience on projects where data migration risk was a key concern.
• Experience in the public sector or regulated environments.
