Oracle PL/SQL Developer

What you will do

• Manage project source code and technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain packages for background processing and reports.
• Develop and maintain reports using PL/SQL, OAP, and APEX.
• Provide ad hoc reports using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Analyse and resolve database issues, including database tuning and performance monitoring.
• Advise on Oracle features and database best practices while collaborating with product owners, cross-disciplinary teams, and QA.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Oracle PL/SQL Developer experience.
• Good understanding of code version management and code promotion practices in an enterprise environment.
• Good knowledge of source control tools.
• Effective written and oral communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Experience with effort estimation and requirements gathering.
• Database tuning and performance monitoring skills.
• Understanding of data modelling and database design.
• Familiarity with preparing and maintaining technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Oracle spatial extensions for a geospatial project component.
• Knowledge of APEX and OAP.
• Oracle Professional Certification.
• Familiarity with unit testing and continuous integration.
