Senior Visual Designer - Audible UX Design (AI)

Location: Newark, New Jersey, US

Salary: $151,600–$205,000 annually in Newark, NJ; $137,800–$186,400 annually in Culver City, CA. Additional compensation may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Define and evolve hirify.global’s visual language across iOS, Android, and web, creating premium and emotionally resonant product experiences.
• Apply advanced visual design principles across typography, composition, spatial hierarchy, color theory, scale, graphic design, art direction, illustration, and visual storytelling.
• Develop mood boards, type explorations, color studies, high-fidelity visual designs, interactive prototypes, motion concepts, and micro-interactions.
• Translate visual principles into design tokens, reusable components, and patterns while preserving creative intent across platforms.
• Shape visual design direction for emerging AI-enabled product experiences and influence long-term organizational strategy.
• Lead and mentor UX Designers while collaborating with management, research, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams on complex user flows and commerce-driven projects.

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry experience as a visual designer, product designer, or similar.
• Online portfolio or work samples demonstrating end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns across desktop and mobile devices.
• Experience designing and delivering digital products aligned with customer needs and business goals, demonstrated through a portfolio.
• Experience using stakeholder input and user research insights to develop design solutions grounded in customer needs and business goals.
• Experience working across functional teams and with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with a range of design approaches, methods, and tools for planning, concept development, and prototyping complex projects.
• Experience delivering designs for a consumer market.
• Experience designing AI-enabled features.
• Clear and concise communication with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, plus the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
