What you will do

• Design responsive user interfaces, graphs, and complex data visualizations.
• Develop design specifications, mock-ups, and prototypes to explore and communicate concepts.
• Ensure strict adherence to design systems and maintain visual consistency across products.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to uncover optimal design solutions.
• Contribute to the internal design library and supporting assets.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience designing interactive digital products.
• Portfolio demonstrating professional experience in UI/UX and/or data visualization.
• Proficiency in Figma, including advanced use of auto-layout and components.
• Strong grasp of typography, color, and layout principles.
• Professional level English proficiency required.
• Strong preference for candidates based in North/South American timezones (UTC–4/5).

Nice to have

• Experience with scientific communication, illustration, or branding.
• Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JS).
• Experience with Python libraries like Matplotlib or Plotly for data visualization.
• Familiarity with hirify.global’s research or related machine learning topics.
