Software Engineer III (.NET/C#)

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, maintain, and optimize MES solutions and shop-monitoring software for manufacturing operations.
• Extend existing MES functionality and develop software for environmental data collection, assembly repair reports, customer reporting, and production insights.
• Install, configure, maintain, and enhance MES hardware, software, network equipment, operating systems, databases, and application servers.
• Monitor MES accuracy, stability, performance, and availability during production; troubleshoot root causes and prevent recurring issues.
• Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure Kubernetes clusters and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, scaling, and management.
• Create procedures and technical documentation, purchase required hardware, software, and services, train MES technicians and users, and communicate with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least 5 years of IT experience.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Intermediate or advanced coding proficiency with C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, and WinForms.
• Experience with Vue 3, Java 17, Spring Boot 2.7, .NET Framework 4.8, Nginx, Tomcat, and ASP.NET.
• Knowledge of MariaDB, Tibero, Oracle 11g, SQL Server, Windows and Linux application servers, RHEL 9, Red Hat, Debian, Amazon Linux, Rocky Linux, and Ubuntu.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs and intermediate or advanced knowledge of MES-related business processes.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, APIs, and ecosystem tools including Helm and Kustomize.
• Proficiency with automation and scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to act as the primary subject matter expert for the assigned shop.

• Microsoft, A+, CMfgT, CPIM, ISA-95, Rockwell Automation MES, Siemens SIMATIC IT MES, Oracle Manufacturing Cloud, CISA, PMP, or Certified MES Professional certifications.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification.
• Kubernetes reporting knowledge.
