XEngineer for Wix Headless

Location: Tel Aviv; fully in person, 5 days a week from the office.

What you will do

• Build and own Wix Headless products across the full customer journey, from initial interaction through activation, conversion, and ongoing use.
• Design backend systems and scalable software architectures.
• Solve architectural challenges and build product capabilities.
• Improve user experiences and connect technical decisions with user needs, business impact, and key business KPIs.
• Drive solutions from ambiguous problems through production and ongoing improvement while collaborating across disciplines.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills with solid backend development experience.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and experience designing scalable systems.
• Experience owning and delivering production systems end to end.
• Strong problem-solving skills and versatility across technical and product challenges.
• Product mindset with attention to user experience and business impact.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to take ownership, work independently, and drive projects from idea to production.
