Intern - Product Costing (Manufacturing)

Location: Krakow, Poland; hybrid work with a minimum of 30 and maximum of 40 hours per week

What you will do

• Support monthly standard costing activities by preparing input files, downloading data, and completing follow-up checks.
• Prepare analyses for preliminary and final costing runs, review month-on-month cost changes, and identify unusual results or missing data.
• Analyze purchase price variances, production variances, and stock-related data, including purchase order and pricing information.
• Support costing and inventory reconciliations by comparing warehouse data across systems and documenting open items.
• Perform master-data, costing-data, freight, intercompany, and interplant cost checks and support required corrections.
• Prepare reports and documentation, maintain desk procedures, support internal controls, and contribute to process improvement and ad hoc costing or inventory analysis.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Controlling, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Interest in product costing, management accounting, financial analysis, and manufacturing processes.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and confidence working with numbers and structured data.
• Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, proactive attitude, good organization, and strong communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Availability for at least 30 hours per week.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAP.
