Country Finance Lead / Financial Controller (F/M/D)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; onsite. Employment available under an employment contract or B2B contract.

Salary: 16,000–21,000 gross PLN per month.

International, family-owned healthcare and pharmaceutical company operating local Polish and regional finance activities.

What you will do

• Oversee payments, cost allocation, payables, receivables, and cash-flow forecasting for the Polish business.
• Lead the monthly closing process and ensure compliance with Polish tax, reporting, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare statutory financial statements, transfer pricing documentation, regular local and regional financial reports, and ad hoc analyses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and regional reporting processes.
• Build and enhance financial models and planning tools to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze sales performance and gross margins across the PL CIS and NCE SA clusters and act as a key contact for internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in controlling, accounting, or FP&A, preferably in pharma or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of Polish accounting standards, Polish tax regulations, and IFRS is required.
• Experience working in international or matrix organizations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems; SAP is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
