Vue-first Fullstack Lead

Location: Edinburgh, United Kingdom; hybrid between home and the Haymarket office, with remote work considered for candidates based in the UK. Typical working hours are 09:00–17:30, Monday to Friday, with flexibility.

Salary: £67,000–£80,000 per year, dependent on experience; earning potential up to £85,500.

What you will do

• Lead and collaborate with a cross-functional product engineering team to plan and deliver product features and enhancements.
• Manage 2–6 software engineers, including one-to-ones and personal development planning.
• Contribute to architecture, design, technology decisions, technical planning, coding, testing, and releases.
• Work with product managers and the wider team on feature prioritisation and scoping.
• Partner with professional services, product managers, and customers on technical, functional, and design activities.
• Support feature and product release lifecycles, hiring, engineering objectives, and a culture of learning and collaboration.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership experience, with emotional intelligence, cross-team collaboration, and the ability to align team priorities.
• Strong full-stack development experience, either as an experienced generalist or with a front-end focus.
• Experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core, Azure SQL Server, the Azure platform, Vue.js, vanilla JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Ability to break large tasks into smaller parts, solve complex problems, manage risks, and learn new technologies quickly.
• Motivation to learn, create positive impact, challenge issues constructively, and communicate clearly and supportively.
• Ability to consider the broader impact of design and coding decisions.
• Experience working with agile development teams on large software products.

• Knowledge of wider Azure platform services.
• Experience with complex web interfaces and large DOM views.
• Experience in or with the professional services industry.
• Experience significantly improving team productivity through AI workflows.
