Claim Handler CH2 (Motor Claims)

Location: Liverpool, United Kingdom. Hybrid role with 1 day in the office and 4 days from home.

hirify.global provides legal and claims solutions to insurers, businesses, and suppliers in the insurance sector, including technology-enabled claims handling and an artificial intelligence insurance lawyer.

What you will do

• Manage pre-litigated motor claims up to £25,000, including high-value and complex matters, from inception to settlement.
• Manage litigated motor claims up to £10,000.
• Identify cases suitable for early litigation based on prospects of success and risk.
• Maintain accurate claims data and deliver consistently high levels of service and productivity.
• Communicate with clients and collaborate with colleagues across the firm.
• Mentor and train team members and act as a technical referral point.

Requirements

• Essential ULR RTA handling experience with pre-litigated matters.
• Full claim-cycle experience, including initial quantum assessment, liability investigation, and settlement negotiation.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
• Customer service experience.
• Excellent attention to detail, negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to mentor and support new starters.
• Qualified solicitor or CILEX with the necessary practice rights; consideration is also given to CILEX Lawyers.

Nice to have

• Litigation knowledge and claims-handling experience.
• Knowledge of Loss of Use and Loss of Standing Charge.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
