Senior Service Designer (AI)

What you will do

• Lead complex user research across client engagements and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
• Create user journey maps covering current enterprise realities and future service states.
• Design service blueprints that optimise the interaction between people, processes, and AI technology.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to address systemic challenges and identify consulting opportunities.
• Develop visual artefacts, narratives, prototypes, and co-design sessions to validate service models before deployment.
• Collaborate with government and public sector clients to transform public service delivery through AI and design.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of diverse user research techniques and the ability to turn insights into strategic client action.
• Deep expertise in systems thinking and creating actionable service blueprints for complex enterprise environments.
• Strong facilitation skills and extensive experience leading client workshops with diverse, cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience designing, testing, and refining service prototypes through continuous client and user feedback.
• High proficiency in producing clear, visually engaging design artefacts that communicate complex operational processes.
• A collaborative track record working across data science, engineering, and client delivery teams.
• Experience working with or within government entities and public sector organisations.
