Senior AI Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Stockholm, Sweden, with three days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, and operate shared AI services used by teams and products across the hirify.global group.
• Build production-grade AI systems for document intelligence, including processing PDFs, leases, inspection reports, and emails.
• Develop agentic case management systems that support issue triage, information retrieval, and case resolution.
• Build AI-powered customer onboarding workflows that automate document and data processing.
• Develop and operate internal AI tools and shared services, including secure model access, knowledge bases, code execution, usage tracking, and cost tracking.
• Own solutions from backlog to production, collaborate with stakeholders, validate early, ship often, and improve systems through feedback.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python backend engineering.
• Genuine interest in AI and its impact on products and ways of working.
• Experience building with coding agents and reviewing and steering their output on larger tasks.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership from early exploration through production across different products and problems.
• Ability to improve team approaches and help put better practices into use.
• Focus on clear, maintainable code, reliable systems, solid system design, testing, quality, and security.
• Ability to share knowledge and collaborate closely with the team.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps and platform work.
• Interest in product thinking and shaping what to build next.
• Experience with other programming languages.
