VP, Enterprise Technology & Agentic Experience (Business Applications)

Location: US-based remote; periodic domestic travel of typically 10–20% for executive offsites, team strategy summits, vendor meetings, and corporate events. In-person interview attendance is required.

Base salary for US-based employees: $214,700–$361,906 USD; benefits and compensation vary by employment location and employment nature. The role may also include a corporate bonus plan or role-specific commission and potential equity participation.

What you will do

• Lead Financial Systems, People Technology, and Enterprise AI Lab teams within a federated co-build IT operating model.
• Partner with Finance, People/HR, and Customer Success/Post-Sales leaders to identify operational friction and automate cross-system workflows.
• Design and govern enterprise AI infrastructure, including LLM gateways, Model Context Protocol integrations, tool-calling frameworks, and RAG pipelines.
• Deploy autonomous digital coworkers and agentic solutions with enterprise-grade security, RBAC, data privacy, and human-in-the-loop review.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering practices using tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.
• Own the enterprise technology roadmap, governance, operating metrics, and ROI benchmarks for automation and agentic initiatives.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise technology, business applications, IT transformation, and software engineering.
• Proven leadership of enterprise application portfolios across HR, including Workday; Finance, including ERP/NetSuite; CRM/Post-Sales, including Salesforce; and cloud data warehouses, including Snowflake and BigQuery.
• Hands-on expertise in enterprise AI architecture, including LLM orchestration, Model Context Protocol, RAG pipelines, and agent frameworks.
• Fluency with AI development tooling such as Cursor and Claude Code, Python-based AI/ML libraries including scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy, PyTorch, AWS Bedrock, and GCP Vertex AI.
• Demonstrated success implementing federated IT operating models, platform engineering, or cross-functional fusion teams with governance, security, and access controls.
• Strong executive presence and ability to build trusted advisory relationships with C-suite stakeholders and non-technical business partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or business field, or equivalent professional experience.
