R&D Team Lead - Agents Platform (AI)

What you will do

• Lead and grow an engineering team, owning execution, the technical roadmap, performance, development, and hiring.
• Design and build production-grade AI agents and agentic workflows that solve complex GRC problems at enterprise scale.
• Partner with Product and other teams to understand customer problems and translate them into AI capabilities.
• Establish engineering practices and standards while supporting rapid experimentation and iteration.
• Write code, review designs and pull requests, prototype new approaches, and solve complex technical challenges with the team.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based products, AI agents, or agentic workflows in production.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong backend and system-design fundamentals.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, such as Team Lead or Tech Lead, in a fast-paced product environment.
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing, evaluating, and improving non-deterministic or generative AI systems, including evaluation frameworks, observability, and quality measurement.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, APIs, databases, and cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong product mindset and ability to translate complex customer and business problems into technical solutions.
• Excellent execution in fast-moving and rapidly changing environments, including making decisions, creating clarity, and helping teams move quickly.
• Experience mentoring and growing engineers while maintaining a high technical bar.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks, tool calling, RAG, retrieval systems, or multi-agent architectures.
• Familiarity with Python development.
• Experience with large-scale data processing or data-intensive systems.
• Experience building new products or technical domains from scratch.
