Sr Staff Engineer Software (AI)

Location: Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel; full-time office work is expected. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven tools, custom automations, and intelligent agents for R&D operations.
• Improve engineering productivity and customer experience through operational workflows and automation.
• Enable support and engineering teams to adopt newly developed automations.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and program management to define, build, and scale workflows, automation, and agents.
• Work with Customer Success, Support, and Sales teams on critical customer calls as the engineering representative.
• Investigate customer issues, troubleshoot complex technical problems, and optimize application performance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including 5 years of hands-on experience with Python, Golang, and Linux.
• Experience developing internal-facing software, AI-assisted tooling, automation frameworks, or custom agents for support and engineering teams.
• Experience driving technical projects end to end, including design, architecture, and successful deployment of operational tools.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and test-driven development.
• Experience building web applications, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience implementing application-level monitoring across the full stack.
• Experience with large-scale application troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple customer requests; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud security architecture, web application security, and security engineering.
