Operations and Supply Planning Intern (Materials Planner) (AI)

Location: Korat, Thailand. On-site role; travel is not required.

What you will do

• Plan and implement purchasing and materials-planning activities.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor material movement through the production cycle.
• Manage both production planning and materials planning functions.
• Coordinate production plans so materials are available according to schedules and capacity.
• Control inventory to meet corporate targets and collaborate cross-functionally to maintain the plan.
• Support additional tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage conflicting deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate complex technical knowledge with cross-functional teams.
• Teamwork, self-motivation, fast learning ability, and excellent interpersonal, planning, teamwork, and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience using SAP.
• Experience in materials or production-control planning.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to create VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with common AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, and Power Automate AI Builder.
• Ability to use AI for data analysis, insight generation, report generation, visualization, summaries, and simple AI-driven dashboards, and to automate repetitive reporting tasks.
