Material Planner

Location: Pathumthani (Navanakorn), Thailand

What you will do

• Develop and maintain production schedules for mass production, engineering builds, pilot runs, and production ramp activities.
• Translate engineering and program requirements into feasible build plans aligned with capacity, materials, and operational priorities.
• Review MRP requirements, validate demand signals, maintain planning parameters, and ensure material availability.
• Coordinate with Buyers, Global Supply Chain, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to secure materials, expedite shortages, and resolve supply gaps.
• Lead build readiness reviews and verify materials, tooling, test capacity, documentation, ECO releases, equipment, manpower, and supporting resources.
• Track build progress and WIP, report risks and schedule adherence, coordinate recovery plans, and drive continuous improvement and compliance with planning standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in production planning, NPI planning, material planning, or supply chain roles within high-tech manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, preferably Oracle, BOM structures, and ECO/change management processes.
• Experience supporting NPI or mass production builds, engineering builds, and ramp-to-volume transitions in a global manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting data, identifying risks early, and proposing mitigation actions.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional and cross-site teams.
• High attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global partners.

• Experience with planning dashboards or analytics tools.
