TL;DR
Buyer (Indirect Procurement): Leading sourcing and procurement for indirect categories in a global manufacturing environment with an accent on strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiations, and cost optimization. Focus on developing procurement strategies, managing supplier performance, supporting CAPEX projects, and driving value engineering and risk mitigation.
Location: Onsite at Bangkok Limited, Bangpoo Industrial Estate, Samut Prakan, Thailand. Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM.

What you will do
- Lead sourcing and procurement activities for assigned indirect procurement categories.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and global procurement policies.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and manage suppliers to optimize quality, cost, delivery, service, and sustainability.
- Lead negotiations covering pricing, contracts, payment terms, and long-term supplier agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, value engineering, productivity improvement, and risk mitigation projects.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, EHS, and Global Procurement teams; support CAPEX projects, supplier development, compliance, and KPI reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of procurement experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Negotiation, and Cost Optimization.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of procurement processes, supplier performance management, and contract management.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in Indirect Procurement, Engineering Procurement, or CAPEX Purchasing.
