Localization Producer (Entertainment)

Base pay: $64,209.60–$80,262.00 annually

What you will do

• Manage large localization projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to budget constraints.
• Coordinate localization of audio, GFX, subtitling, and related assets for marketing campaigns, franchises, features, series, and languages.
• Drive project scheduling, production milestones, team commitments, and delivery of localized marketing assets.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, clients, localization operations, production teams, vendors, and global colleagues.
• Improve localization pipelines and monitor service quality with Localization, Operations, Product, leadership, and vendor teams.
• Anticipate risks, develop mitigation strategies, make independent decisions, and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in localization, preferably as a Localization Producer or Project Manager within marketing, trailer, entertainment, or gaming.
• Experience with audiovisual localization workflows for subtitling and localized VO/dubbing.
• Experience setting up, assigning, and tracking large projects while delivering results and exceeding client expectations.
• Experience managing end-to-end localization processes for marketing, trailers, entertainment, and/or gaming.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across regions, functions, and levels.
• Ability to manage time and multiple projects or tasks, prioritize competing demands, and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and stakeholder expectations.

Nice to have

• Experience with localization platforms, file formats, project management tools, and databases.
• Experience with Machine Translation or other emerging AI concepts.
• Knowledge of multiple languages.
• Familiarity with entertainment localization focused on short-form and marketing content.
