Vue-first Full-stack

Location: Atlanta, GA, US; hybrid schedule, with fully remote considered for the right person. Occasional travel under 10% and occasional work outside normal hours may be required for releases or production issues.

UniPro Foodservice is a cooperative of independent foodservice distributors that provides Members with buying power, supplier relationships, data, and technology.

What you will do

• Build end-to-end features across Vue.js and TailwindCSS interfaces, PHP/Laravel application logic, MySQL data, and related services.
• Develop accessible, responsive user-facing features, APIs, services, scheduled processes, and data-driven functionality.
• Integrate applications with vendor platforms and Member and Supplier systems through APIs, file exchanges, and EDI.
• Maintain production applications, improve performance and reliability, write tests, review code, and support CI/CD releases.
• Work with Ubuntu servers and AWS infrastructure to investigate logs, diagnose incidents, document findings, and propose fixes.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand workflows and define clear acceptance criteria before implementation.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent certifications; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience building and supporting web or business applications.
• Strong fundamentals in at least one modern programming language, plus HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with a component-based frontend framework, server-side code, and APIs.
• Comfort with relational databases and SQL.
• Git and code review as normal development practices.
• Enough Linux command-line experience to work on servers.
• Effective and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools, including reviewing and testing generated code.
• Evidence of learning an unfamiliar technology or system and becoming productive with it.

Nice to have

• PHP/Laravel, Vue.js, TailwindCSS, and MySQL experience.
• EDI or file-based integration experience.
• AWS, Ubuntu/Linux administration, or Nginx experience.
• Automated testing, CI/CD, and GitHub workflows.
• Experience with Snowflake, D365 F&O, or other integrated systems.
