Full Stack Engineer (Magento)

Location: Plano, TX, United States, or remote; the listing also indicates on-site work in Plano.

Salary: $70/hour on C2C; W2 candidates preferred.

Work with a Platform Support Team delivering and supporting scalable eCommerce applications and integrations.

What you will do

• Develop and support Magento and Adobe Commerce customizations, enhancements, and platform services.
• Build and maintain integrations with CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and other third-party systems.
• Develop, optimize, and support RESTful and SOAP APIs using JSON and XML.
• Contribute across frontend and backend development in a PHP-based ecosystem.
• Participate in architecture, technical planning, code reviews, releases, and cloud deployment workflows.
• Troubleshoot and scale systems for performance and reliability while mentoring junior and mid-level developers.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with Magento or Adobe Commerce and strong knowledge of Magento architecture, modules, dependency injection, and customization practices.
• Expert PHP development experience with modern frameworks such as Symfony and/or Laravel.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and third-party integrations.
• Strong MySQL or MariaDB database design and query optimization skills.
• Experience with scalable cloud-based or distributed environments, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Seven or more years of experience developing and maintaining Magento and PHP-based applications, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Drupal, Joomla, Pimcore, Vue.js, React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis, Varnish, RabbitMQ, Composer, Docker, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience supporting high-traffic eCommerce environments and working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
