What you will do

  • Analyze venture capital and corporate transactions and provide expert legal insights.
  • Review and evaluate investment documents, including term sheets, share purchase agreements, and convertible notes.
  • Assess corporate structuring, governance, and transaction considerations for startups, investors, and established businesses.
  • Explain complex legal concepts and transactional processes in clear, accessible language.
  • Identify legal, regulatory, and compliance risks in sample scenarios and documentation.
  • Review AI-generated legal content and provide constructive feedback to improve accuracy and clarity while collaborating remotely with project managers and other contributors.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in at least one jurisdiction.
  • Extensive experience in venture capital transactions, corporate law, startup advisory, and investment structuring.
  • Ideally, seven or more years of relevant experience.
