Junior Counsel (AI/LegalTech)

Location: New York City, United States. Hybrid work model with an in-office expectation of 4–5 days per week at the 1 WTC headquarters. Financial relocation support is available for a move to New York City.

Base salary: $200,000–$250,000 per year. Equity included.

hirify.global is an agentic law company that develops proprietary no-code software enabling lawyers to build and supervise domain-specific AI agents, and provides technology and services to the affiliated AI-native law firm Norm Law.

What you will do

• Support corporate governance, board and stockholder consents, entity matters, equity administration, cap table maintenance, corporate records, and subsidiary filings.
• Draft and review NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, vendor contracts, engagement letters, and client proposals while building repeatable templates and playbooks.
• Support Norm Law operations, client intake, go-to-market activities, and the governance relationship between hirify.global and Norm Law.
• Handle employment and HR matters, employment templates, policies, handbooks, IP ownership and protection, confidential information, trade secrets, data privacy, and security compliance.
• Coordinate with outside counsel, prepare materials, determine when escalation is needed, and partner with leadership, Operations, People/Talent, and Norm Law.
• Build legal-function infrastructure, including matter tracking, approval workflows, templates, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and admission to the bar in at least one state; New York admission is preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house at a high-growth company.
• Generalist orientation with interest in corporate, commercial, employment, IP, and data privacy/security matters.
• Strong corporate and transactional foundation with the ability to learn adjacent practice areas quickly.
• Excellent judgment, discretion, ownership, organization, and systems-oriented execution when handling sensitive corporate, personnel, and client matters.
• Pragmatic, business-minded approach with the ability to support commercial and go-to-market functions.
• Low-ego, action-oriented mindset and willingness to handle both large and small tasks.
• Practical fluency with AI tools and the ability to discuss specific AI workflows, tools, and outcomes during interviews.

Nice to have

• Exposure to startup equity, employment matters, IP, data privacy, or venture financings.
• Familiarity with law firm operations or professional-services go-to-market.
