Senior UX/UI Product Designer

Company

Build a global, football-first social network and messaging platform combining social feeds, short-form video, encrypted messaging, live scores, football communities, translation across 48 languages, and planned ticketing, travel, commerce, payments, rewards, and Mini Programs. The company is an early-stage startup currently operating under a deferred-compensation model.

What you will do

• Lead UX/UI design for major product experiences across native iOS, Android, web, and tablets, with a strong emphasis on mobile.
• Create polished interfaces with intuitive navigation, typography, animation, visual consistency, and platform-appropriate interaction patterns.
• Design complex consumer experiences across social feeds, messaging, voice and video calls, short-form video, live football scores, onboarding, and fan communities.
• Develop user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready high-fidelity designs.
• Establish and evolve a unified design system, review existing work, and improve overall product quality.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product teams, leadership, and other designers while contributing to product direction, mentoring, and long-term design standards.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional UX/UI or product design experience.
• Substantial hands-on experience designing consumer-facing native iOS and Android applications, including shipped mobile products.
• A portfolio demonstrating high-quality mobile product design, including iOS and Android screens, navigation systems, user flows, interaction patterns, complex consumer experiences, and clearly documented personal ownership.
• Strong foundations in graphic design, typography, layout, composition, color, and visual hierarchy.
• Deep understanding of mobile navigation, gestures, interaction patterns, transitions, and platform conventions.
• Experience designing complex consumer products with multiple interconnected features and products serving millions of users.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining scalable design systems.
• Advanced Figma proficiency, including components, variants, auto layout, and interactive prototyping.
• Understanding of user psychology, engagement, retention, usability, and interaction patterns; experience collaborating directly with frontend engineers and product teams.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, make sound design decisions without constant supervision, and communicate, present, and critique design effectively.

• Experience with social networking, community, messaging, communication, short-form video, creator, sports, gaming, entertainment, marketplace, or high-engagement commerce applications.
• Passion for football and global sports culture.
• Strong motion design and micro-interaction capabilities.
• Experience designing products from zero to one or improving existing consumer products through major redesigns.
• Experience with multilingual, international consumer applications.
• Experience working in fast-moving, early-stage startups.
