AI Product Designer

Location: Remote USA; collaboration with Product Managers, QA, Engineering, and Sales in person in the Toronto office.

What you will do

• Define and lead digital transformations at a strategic level and help clients determine target outcomes and delivery approaches.
• Apply design thinking and UX strategies to create user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and assets for clients and developers.
• Lead complex design discovery sessions, provide recommendations, and manage design-specific client meetings.
• Anchor projects in the design discipline, implement project-level solutions, and maintain high-quality outputs through collaboration with QA and Engineering.
• Mentor team members, provide technical guidance, and lead cross-disciplinary process-improvement initiatives.
• Communicate with stakeholders, manage feedback loops, and influence product vision and strategic alignment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Product Design or UX/UI.
• AI-first mindset, including comfort integrating AI tools into the workflow and experience using AI to build rapid prototypes and collect user feedback.
• Experience building AI-native interfaces (AIX).
• Proficiency in UX design, including user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Strong proficiency with current design tools and software, including Figma.
• Self-motivated approach with initiative, ownership, attention to detail, typography, interactivity, and a user-centric design process.
• Current knowledge of design trends and best practices, openness to new tools and methodologies, and informed opinions about best practices.
• Ability to collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Sales, guide product decisions through user testing and iterative feedback, and rapidly iterate on prototypes and working applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating previous work samples.

• Experience working with technical specialists, Product Managers, Software Developers, and business partners.
• Strong oral and written communication, teamwork, interpersonal, multitasking, and priority-management skills.
• Experience in a consulting environment or presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Experience in News Media, Sports Media, or Mobile Banking.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve unexpected problems.
