Solutions Engineer (DX)

Location: Remote; listed locations include New York, United States; Austin, United States; and Washington DC, United States.

Salary: $114,300–$179,779 base pay across United States geographic pay zones, plus possible benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

What you will do

• Lead the technical aspects of sales cycles, including proof-of-concepts and pilots, in partnership with Account Executives.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand client needs, engineering workflows, and high-level goals.
• Investigate branching strategies, deployment workflows, engineering processes, and existing tooling through consultative questioning.
• Design tailored solutions integrating APIs with complex client workflows and advise prospects on deployment methodologies and analytics integrations.
• Capture and synthesize prospect feedback for Product and Engineering teams to inform product enhancements and roadmap priorities.

Requirements

• Exposure to programming, preferably Ruby/Rails, with a solid understanding of APIs and RESTful services.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and the GitHub CLI.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and branching strategies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including extensive experience leading high-stakes client discussions and product demonstrations.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
• Strong organizational skills for managing technical follow-ups and resource delivery across multiple active opportunities.
