Legal Operations Specialist (AI)

Location: Remote; applicants must currently reside in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada.

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 per year, plus potential equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Run legal operations and automate manual legal tasks with AI and low-code tools.
• Support legal research, contract reviews, and other legal and regulatory projects with Legal Counsel.
• Maintain corporate entities in good standing across the US and Canada, including annual reports and state requests.
• Monitor intellectual property, identify infringements, and initiate cease-and-desist workflows.
• Investigate complex consumer escalations, recommend fixes, and convert recurring issues into compliance training.
• Review products and processes for compliance risks, collaborate with Engineering and Product on fixes, and lead compliance audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an academically rigorous program with a record of high performance.
• Experience owning projects from start to finish and solving problems independently without detailed instructions.
• Demonstrated interest in using AI and technology to improve work, such as building a tool, automation, or process.
• Ability to track open items through completion, maintain accurate systems, meet deadlines, and avoid errors in filings and audits.
• Ability to communicate proactively, flag blockers early, define unclear problems, and act with urgency.
• Must currently reside in an eligible US state or Ontario, Canada.
