UX Designer (AI)

Location: Remote, Any State

Product company developing software for enterprise customers.

What you will do

• Partner with stakeholders and executives to turn strategic ideas into hypotheses with defined problems, target customers, business cases, and decision-changing evidence.
• Plan and run discovery research with customers and prospects through interviews, workshops, concept tests, and usability sessions.
• Create interactive prototypes and functional proof-of-concepts with AI-assisted tools, applying UX judgment to flows, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Validate willingness to adopt and pay, define success signals, track evidence, and present recommendations to leadership.
• Protect exploratory prototypes through clear customer communication and coordination with Sales and Legal on NDAs, disclosures, and expectations.
• Lead a small cross-functional pod by setting priorities, working rhythms, readouts, reusable templates, scripts, and prototype patterns.

Requirements

• Strong business thinking across markets, buyers, pricing, and ROI.
• Demonstrated rapid prototyping ability, including fluency with AI-assisted building tools.
• Hands-on discovery research experience and comfort speaking directly with customers, prospects, and senior stakeholders.
• UX and product design fundamentals, supported by a portfolio or examples of shipped work.
• Product management experience or equivalent experience in scoping, prioritization, and stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• B2B SaaS experience, especially with enterprise software.
• Comfort working in or alongside a live codebase.
• Experience leading small teams without formal authority.
• Confidence challenging senior leaders when the evidence does not support an idea.
