Senior Technical Project Manager (Digital/eCommerce)

What you will do

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex digital and e-commerce initiatives involving multiple application and engineering teams.
• Manage project scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, deliverables, competing priorities, and roadblocks.
• Translate strategic business objectives into actionable project plans and align features, epics, and user stories with delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, architects, Product Owners, and technical leads on solution designs, application dependencies, and implementation requirements.
• Serve as a key contact for client stakeholders and business leaders; prepare executive-level updates and facilitate cross-functional decisions.
• Support Agile delivery, use Jira and other project management tools, and identify improvements to delivery processes and operational efficiency, including through AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

• 8+ years of project management experience, including leadership of complex, enterprise-level technology or digital initiatives.
• Demonstrated e-commerce experience is required, including delivery of digital commerce platforms, customer-facing applications, or related capabilities.
• Experience managing large, complex projects involving multiple application teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and interdependent technical deliverables.
• Strong technical fluency in APIs, native mobile development, web applications, backend services, system integrations, and modern application development concepts.
• Experience partnering directly with engineering teams and providing tactical delivery guidance at the feature, epic, or user story level.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC practices, and software delivery processes.
• Experience managing project risks, dependencies, schedules, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including polished presentations and project updates for executive leadership.
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, influence without direct authority, and drive results in complex organizational environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira for Agile project tracking, reporting, and delivery management.
• Experience with Apptio or related technology financial management and portfolio planning tools.
• Experience supporting large-scale consumer-facing e-commerce platforms, digital transformation, or mobile application initiatives.
• Familiarity with cloud-native applications, microservices, API integrations, and modern enterprise architecture.
• Experience coordinating delivery across multiple vendors or geographically distributed engineering teams.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted project management tools for reporting, planning, documentation, and delivery efficiency.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, Certified ScrumMaster, or SAFe.
