AI Architect (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Define and maintain enterprise GenAI blueprints, reference architectures, design patterns, standards, and layered guardrails for LLM-based applications.
• Translate business and product requirements into secure, scalable, reliable, cost-efficient, and risk-aware AI architectures.
• Architect knowledge bases, RAG solutions, vector search, agentic workflows, tool calling, human-in-the-loop controls, and end-to-end AI pipelines.
• Design AI gateways and model access layers covering authentication, authorization, routing, versioning, quotas, cost controls, logging, auditability, observability, and secure cloud connectivity.
• Integrate GenAI capabilities, document intelligence, and workflow automation into enterprise systems and digital platforms.
• Partner with product, security, privacy, legal, compliance, and cloud engineering teams; advise leadership, mentor engineers and architects, and establish reusable best practices.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience building and architecting large-scale software or AI systems in medium-to-large enterprises, including 5+ years with AI/ML, NLP, or Generative AI.
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments such as healthcare, finance, insurance, or global enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering, RAG, knowledge bases, multimodal embeddings, agentic AI workflows, tool calling, MCP concepts, and context management.
• Knowledge of foundation models, inference profiles, regional hosting and model restrictions, fine-tuning strategies, adapters, and inference optimization.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing secure and scalable AI Gateway or model access layers.
• Experience with vector databases, semantic search, cloud platforms and AI services including Azure, AWS, or GCP, secure API design, IAM, networking, CI/CD, scale, resilience, and global deployment.
• Experience with document intelligence platforms such as Azure Form Recognizer, AWS Textract, or Google Document AI; knowledge of IDP, OCR, NLP, entity linking, data validation, document lifecycle management, and document processing workflows.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent workflow orchestration frameworks, plus MLOps/LLMOps, AI observability, monitoring, evaluation, content safety, moderation, policy enforcement, prompt-injection mitigation, and jailbreak prevention.
• Awareness of data, privacy, legal, regulatory, and Responsible AI standards across geographical regions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
