Continuous Improvement & Operations Manager

Location: Heerenveen, Friesland, Netherlands, with flexibility to work at hirify.global sites in Utrecht, Eindhoven, Rotterdam, Heerenveen, Zwolle, Nijmegen, or Geldermalsen. The role requires location flexibility and hands-on work on fulfilment-centre operations.

What you will do

• Supervise one operational shift on the floor each week and use performance insights to improve execution.
• Own daily and weekly inbound or outbound performance across safety, quality, productivity, delivery, cost, completeness, timeliness, and perfect-delivery KPIs.
• Lead teams across multiple shifts, supporting engagement, retention, and captain leadership on the floor.
• Handle major incidents, set productivity inputs, and manage planning escalations when required.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives and support Lean activities that remove friction from fulfilment operations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of supply-chain experience.
• Experience managing high-volume, high-SKU workflows.
• Strong analytical skills and a high level of competence with data-analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Lean and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on experience in automated, semi-automated, or manual fulfilment operations.
• Proven ability to lead teams.
• Fluent English.
• Location flexibility across hirify.global’s fulfilment-centre sites in the Netherlands.
