Continuous Improvement & Operations Manager (Supply Chain)

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands, with location flexibility across sites in Utrecht, Eindhoven, Rotterdam, Heerenveen, Zwolle, Nijmegen, Geldermalsen, Ridderkerk, Berkel en Rodenrijs, and Dordrecht. The role requires hands-on presence in fulfilment operations and flexibility to work at an appropriate site in the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Establish stable, high-performance processes and continuously improve them using data and clear KPIs.
• Own the daily and weekly performance of an inbound or outbound area across safety, quality, productivity, cost, completeness, timeliness, delivery capacity, and perfect-delivery metrics.
• Supervise one shift on the floor each week and lead teams across multiple shifts, supporting engagement, retention, and captain leadership.
• Handle major incidents, set productivity inputs, and manage planning escalations.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives and support Lean activities that remove friction from daily fulfilment operations.
• Translate analysis into concrete actions and consistent execution in high-volume operations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain.
• Experience with automated, semi-automated, and manual fulfilment.
• Comfort managing high-volume, high-SKU workflows.
• Strong analytical skills and a high level of competence with data-analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Lean and continuous-improvement initiatives, including practical Lean or continuous-improvement experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams.
• Fluent English.
• Location flexibility across fulfilment sites in the Netherlands is required for the Operations team.
