Import Logistics Coordinator (Air Import)

What you will do

• Organize and manage the daily functions of air import gateways, including consolidation and internal operational service.
• Secure the release of ULDs from airlines and container freight stations and open breakbulk files for air import gateways.
• Hand off shipments to BDP and third-party brokerage providers.
• Negotiate regional trucking rates for final-mile delivery and resolve air import challenges for internal and external customers.
• Communicate daily with air carriers, container freight stations, and final-mile providers.
• Maintain accurate payables and monthly accounts receivable statements in line with company policy; attend regulatory training, seminars, and meetings.

Requirements

• Experience in a customer service environment is required or preferred at the one- to two-year level.
• One to two years of experience handling import trafficking functions is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work on a team.
• Ability to learn and use various computer programs.
