CPU Pre-Si Verification Sr Engineer (CPU Design Verification)

Location: On-site in Guadalajara, Mexico; unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico required. This role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship.

What you will do

• Develop and implement comprehensive verification plans for CPU designs.
• Execute test cases and analyze results to verify design functionality and performance.
• Identify, debug, and resolve design issues using simulation and collaboration with design teams.
• Apply advanced verification methodologies, tools, and techniques to maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to deliver project objectives on schedule.
• Document verification processes and results to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in CPU design verification or related domains.
• Experience with hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
• Experience with verification methodologies including UVM, SystemVerilog, or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with simulation tools and debugging techniques.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl for automation tasks.
• Unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and collaboration skills, and interest in innovation and technology leadership in the semiconductor industry.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience, covering CPU design verification, Verilog or VHDL, UVM, SystemVerilog or similar frameworks, simulation and debugging, and Python or Perl scripting.
