Associate DCI Engineer (Medical Technology)

Location: Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico; onsite

What you will do

• Advance product design changes from concept through high-volume production with cross-functional teams.
• Perform hands-on and data-driven root-cause and countermeasure analysis for mechanical and soft-goods issues.
• Design and build test systems to identify factory issues and customer complaint root causes.
• Design, verify, and implement mechanical product changes and create CAD designs, diagrams, and layouts.
• Work with Manufacturing to create processes, tests, and procedures that improve machine reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate with Marketing to enhance legacy product designs and improve customer experience; maintain GMP documentation and follow engineering SOPs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in product development.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling.
• Intermediate spoken English, preferably at an advanced level.

Nice to have

• Experience with SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
