What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate with other engineering functions on product improvements, new product releases, and manufacturing engineering projects.
• Lead the use of design for excellence (DFx) principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Determine time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate test results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
• Determine root causes and corrective actions for assembly and system-testing issues, perform Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, prepare reports, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4–7 years of experience.
• Conceptual knowledge and technical experience for everyday problem-solving on the job.
• Ability to work with extended standing, walking, tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, color distinction, challenging noise environments, and hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a clean room and use required personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
