Manufacturing Engineer (Spector)

Location: On-site at a manufacturing partner's facility in Beverly, Massachusetts; the conditions also list Waltham, Massachusetts.

Salary: $93,000–$119,000 per year, plus a bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls hardware during assembly, integration, and final testing.
• Support early production builds and stabilize manufacturing workflows as production scales.
• Lead root-cause investigations using Fishbone diagrams, 5 Why, and 8D methods.
• Implement permanent corrective actions and support engineering changes, deviations, and rework directives.
• Develop assembly instructions, work instructions, training materials, and sequence-of-operations documentation.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Quality, Field Service, Supply Chain, planning, and production-floor teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, sustaining engineering, or hardware support.
• Experience troubleshooting complex electromechanical hardware in a production environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, electrical schematics, 3D models, BOMs, and GD&T documentation.
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks, structured problem-solving, and production process documentation.
• Ability to work on-site at the Beverly, Massachusetts manufacturing facility.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor equipment and high-complexity production lines.
• Experience troubleshooting valves, gas delivery systems, cryogenic equipment, controllers, or similar hardware.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
