Director, Global Planning and SIOP (Supply Chain)

Location: Hybrid, Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States. Occasional travel required. Immigration-related sponsorship is not available; candidates must not require hirify.global sponsorship now or in the future.

Annual salary: $120,000–$150,000.

What you will do

• Own global demand planning and supply chain planning from monthly planning through strategic planning.
• Own, enforce, and improve the Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning process for the Resuscitation division and maintain accountability for finished-goods inventory.
• Translate strategic and annual business objectives into product- and region-specific service-level and inventory targets.
• Lead forecasting, annual planning, strategic planning, inventory planning, inventory reserves, and capacity planning across the global network.
• Partner with internal and external manufacturers, distribution, logistics, sourcing, manufacturing, finance, IT, and technical service to align supply, capacity, planning parameters, and new product launches.
• Build team capability, improve standardized planning practices, enable inventory and performance visibility, and advance the supply chain technology roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Planning or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in planning.
• Hands-on experience leading sourcing, manufacturing, and/or distribution.
• Proven leadership experience driving supply and planning functions to support company growth.
• Strong understanding of the industry and management of a global supply network.
• Extensive experience and knowledge with ERP and EDM systems.
• Experience building and managing forecasting and planning systems and procedures.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, communication, interpersonal, and matrix team-management skills.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to lead scenario planning covering upside, nominal, and downside options.

Nice to have

• MBA.
• Experience with FDA-regulated products and processes.
• Certification through APICS, NAPM, or another supply chain program.
