Sr Analyst I Software Engineer (C++)

Location: Remote in the United States; USA - Connecticut, any city. Must be a US citizen and able to obtain government clearance.

Salary: $73,400–$136,300 annually.

What you will do

• Develop software solutions for jet engine and rig testing, calibration laboratories, materials laboratories, and structural data reduction environments.
• Collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines to develop software tools that meet engineering needs.
• Administer, install, and integrate third-party software on client-imaged Windows devices.
• Provide front-line support for severe issues, perform root cause analysis, drive issue resolution, and manage risk.
• Improve processes and support engineering customers in understanding and addressing business needs.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required because the role involves US military data.
• Ability to obtain government clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with C++, Perl or shell scripting, Python, GitHub, Linux, Windows system administration, Microsoft Office tools, ServiceNow, real-time data acquisition systems, and flight test support.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, testing, communication, and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work closely with engineering customers and manage risk.
• Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience with Fortran.
• Understanding of client-server applications, storage technologies, and database interfaces.
