Senior Product Manager (OT/IoT Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote in the United States; ability to travel to Europe one week per quarter required.

Base pay: $160,297–$197,378 per year.

What you will do

• Own the data model for an OT-native CMDB, including assets, installed positions, locations, ISA-95 hierarchies, relationships, and complete asset change history.
• Define how recorded asset states relate to live network observations and how offline equipment and imported records are represented.
• Partner with engineering on identity, reconciliation, source precedence, traceability, and record-change rules.
• Shape configurable workflows for planned and unplanned changes, vulnerability remediation, asset changes, and safety approvals.
• Define integrations with existing CMDB and ITSM systems and determine where AI agents act versus where human approval is required.
• Make product and release decisions, work with early-access customers, collaborate with engineering in Europe, and report to the VP of Product.

Requirements

• Product ownership of a CMDB, asset, or configuration data product sold to multiple customers, including structural decisions about records, source reconciliation, attestation, and retained history; configuring or implementing a CMDB alone is not sufficient.
• Knowledge of which CMDB capabilities cannot be added later and ability to explain the reasoning clearly to engineers.
• 5+ years of B2B product management experience at a software vendor.
• Strong data modeling skills, including schema design, tradeoff analysis, and experience learning from previous modeling mistakes.
• Experience defining identity or reconciliation rules for matching records across multiple sources without a single reliable key and modeling record changes over time.
• Experience shipping workflow, approval, or change-management capabilities, preferably configurable defaults that customers can adapt.
• Practical judgment about applying AI in workflows and deciding when human approval is required.
• Comfort working with enterprise customers and technical stakeholders across operations, security, and IT.
• Ability to travel to Europe one week per quarter.

Nice to have

• Product ownership of ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, ITOM Visibility, Change Management, Operational Technology Management, BMC Helix CMDB, Freshservice, Device42, Cognite, IBM Maximo, or SAP EAM.
• Experience with Tamr, Reltio, Informatica MDM, Axonius, or similar matching and master data platforms.
• Background in configuration management, IT or cyber asset management, master data management, entity resolution, industrial knowledge graphs, or EAM/CMMS products.
• OT experience; prior PLC knowledge is not required.
