Product Manager, User Identity

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; hybrid with onsite work 3 days a week at the headquarters

Salary: $129,200–$209,000 per year; compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus

What you will do

• Own and drive the User-ID product strategy, roadmap, and feature lifecycle within the Strata network security platform.
• Define requirements for identity-aware security capabilities covering user mapping, authentication, identity integrations, and policy enforcement.
• Partner with engineering on user-to-IP mapping, Cloud Identity Engine, terminal server environments, workload identity, and related identity services.
• Support integrations with Active Directory, LDAP, Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, SAML, OIDC, and RADIUS.
• Gather customer and field feedback, translate technical needs into roadmap priorities, and collaborate across engineering, UX, marketing, sales, customer success, and product teams through launch.
• Use customer, deployment, product, AI, and modern product-development data and tools to improve scalability, reliability, performance, usability, adoption, technical content, deployment guidance, and enablement.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of relevant experience in product management, technical product management, technical marketing, engineering, or a related technical role.
• Experience in at least one relevant domain: identity/IAM, authentication, directory services, networking, network security, firewalls, Zero Trust, secure access, or enterprise security infrastructure.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to define requirements and deliver technical products or features.
• Working knowledge of enterprise identity and/or networking concepts.
• Experience translating customer or technical needs into product requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS, SAML, OIDC, Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, or similar identity platforms.
• Experience with network security, firewalls, PAN-OS, Prisma Access, Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager, or comparable technologies.
• Experience owning or contributing to a product roadmap and engaging directly with enterprise customers.
• Experience bringing enterprise software features or products from concept through launch.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust or identity-aware security architectures.
• Experience creating technical product content, deployment guidance, or field enablement.
