Senior Software Development Engineer - UI/UX (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Build and ship features across React and TypeScript frontends and the GraphQL and gRPC APIs behind them, from scoping through deployment.
• Design GraphQL schemas and protobuf/gRPC contract changes with versioning and schema evolution.
• Build and maintain Python, TypeScript, and Go client SDKs, including code generation, semantic versioning, and release automation.
• Define contracts with backend services, collaborate with Product and Design, and turn customer needs into features.
• Improve frontend performance, accessibility, and observability; write secure, well-tested code and provide constructive code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building production web applications and APIs from idea to delivery with Product, Design, and Engineering; equivalent experience is valued.
• Production experience with React, including hooks, Context, lazy loading, large component architectures, modern testing frameworks, state management, and build tools.
• TypeScript experience.
• GraphQL with Apollo Client and Apollo Server on Node.js, plus gRPC with Protocol Buffers; client consumption is required and service design is a plus.
• Hands-on API design, versioning, and schema evolution.
• Experience building and maintaining client SDKs in multiple languages such as Python, TypeScript, and Go, with code generation, semantic versioning, and release automation.
• Experience with Auth0, OAuth 2.0, and JWT flows.

Nice to have

• Experience with data-heavy UIs, including grids, charts, virtualization, shared UI component libraries, or design systems.
• PostgreSQL, GCP Cloud Run and GCS, and protobuf schema design with buf tooling.
• OpenTelemetry, GitLab CI/CD, OpenFeature or other feature flag systems, and Terraform.
• Cybersecurity, OT, or ICS experience, or SBOM knowledge including CycloneDX, SPDX, or CVE.
• Responsible use of AI-assisted development tools and experience driving technical initiatives or improving engineering practices across teams.
