Intermediate Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript)

Location: Remote within the United States and Canada; travel for in-person engagement may be required, including department offsites, team meetings, and customer or industry events.

Salary: USA-based roles: $123,000–$172,000 USD annual base salary. Canada-based roles: $111,000–$155,000 CAD annual base salary.

What you will do

• Build and maintain administrative interfaces for enterprise customers, including device compliance dashboards and policy configuration tools.
• Develop intuitive experiences that help administrators understand device security posture, identify risks, and take action.
• Contribute to a new Device Security initiative from the ground up and influence product direction and technical solutions.
• Initially contribute to client-side work in related product areas before transitioning more fully to Device Security.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, and infrastructure partners through planning, technical discussions, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Develop technical judgment and ownership through mentorship, knowledge sharing, pair programming, and feedback.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience, including building web experiences with React and TypeScript.
• Experience developing clear, maintainable frontend components and interfaces for complex product requirements.
• Experience working on products serving large user bases and understanding how frontend decisions affect scalability, performance, and optimization.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with Engineering, Product, Design, and other cross-functional partners.
• Ability to ask thoughtful questions, reflect on learning, and use challenges and mistakes to improve technical judgment.
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully and understanding their capabilities and limitations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust or Go.
• Full-stack development experience with a frontend focus.
• Experience with composable design system components.
• Experience with security, administration, or device management products.
