Strategic Compute Investments (AI Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid

Salary: $230K–$255K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own analytical and structuring work for major supply transactions, including multi-year capacity commitments, data centers, powered land, and strategic partnerships.
• Build financial models covering unit economics, total cost of ownership, returns, risks, and scenarios, and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Design deal structures covering commitment terms, payment timing, prepayments, financing options, cost, flexibility, and risk.
• Lead diligence on counterparties and opportunities with Finance, Legal, Engineering, and external advisors.
• Track market pricing, capital flows, and financing trends across compute and infrastructure.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure or real estate investing, venture or growth investing, management consulting, or a comparable corporate finance or corporate development role.
• Hands-on experience structuring, modeling, and executing complex transactions from first review through closing.
• Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills, with the judgment to turn analysis into clear recommendations.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with senior leadership and external counterparties.
• High ownership and comfort with ambiguity, including building processes from the ground up.
• Genuine interest in AI infrastructure and the economics of compute.

Nice to have

• Experience investing in or financing digital infrastructure, data centers, power, or energy.
• Exposure to compute, cloud, or GPU markets, including capacity contracts or infrastructure financing.
• Experience moving from a finance or investing role into an operating role at a high-growth company.
