Director Engineering (Oracle/ADP)

Location: United States (Remote); listed location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, US

Base salary for US-based candidates: $203,600–$366,400 per year. Additional incentive compensation, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan may be available.

What you will do

• Lead and develop high-performing teams of Business Analysts and Software Engineers, including geographically distributed teams.
• Drive the strategy, design, development, and delivery of enterprise Time and Pay solutions using ADP GlobalView, Oracle Compensation, Oracle Time & Labor, and Oracle Absence Management.
• Partner with HR and Finance leadership to define technology roadmaps, translate business priorities into solutions, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Deliver scalable, reliable, and innovative solutions for a global workforce across multiple countries, regulatory environments, and organizational structures.
• Collaborate with Oracle, ADP, systems integrators, and other strategic technology partners and vendors.
• Drive engineering excellence through architecture, software development practices, integrations, automation, quality assurance, modernization, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Enterprise Applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Experience leading Software Engineering and Business Analysis teams and developing high-performing geographically distributed teams.
• Experience delivering complex enterprise technology solutions and global HR, payroll, time management, or workforce management solutions.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM and ADP enterprise solutions, including Oracle Compensation, Oracle Time & Labor, Oracle Absence Management, and ADP GlobalView.
• Understanding of multinational business processes, regulatory compliance, payroll integrations, and workforce management requirements.
• Experience partnering with HR and Finance leadership to translate business strategies and operational requirements into scalable technology solutions, roadmaps, and measurable business outcomes.
• Expertise in enterprise application architecture, software development, and systems integration.
• Experience leading enterprise transformation and modernization initiatives using cloud technologies, automation, AI, and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing strategic technology vendors and implementation partners, including Oracle, ADP, and systems integrators.
