What you will do
Lead the IT Operations team, setting priorities, service levels, and the balance between run and build work.
Own service desk performance, endpoint and device management, identity, SSO, access provisioning, offboarding, and repeatable IT automation.
Own the ERP platform from implementation through steady state, including configuration, workflows, maintenance, integrations, support, testing, release management, and disaster recovery.
Manage the ERP implementation partner or systems integrator against scope, quality, timeline, and budget.
Establish IT controls, segregation of duties, audit evidence, compliance support, vendor management, SaaS renewals, and enterprise technology governance.
Build the Enterprise Applications team, define its operating model, hire additional leads, and advise leadership on application strategy, cost, and risk.
Requirements
Senior leadership of an IT or enterprise applications function in a scaling business, including managing managers.
Experience leading an ERP implementation from the owner’s side, including managing a systems integrator.
Experience owning a business system end to end, including configuration, support, and continuous improvement.
Experience running IT operations covering service desk, endpoint and MDM, identity, and SSO in a SaaS-first environment.
Experience building and operating IT controls, including ITGC, segregation of duties, and audit, in a finance-critical environment.
Experience leading organisational change and moving functions to shared ownership models while maintaining stakeholder trust.
Ability to establish processes, documentation, and governance from scratch without a large existing team or established playbook.
Strong stakeholder management with finance, operations, and other business functions as primary ERP users; strong commercial and vendor management skills.
Strong communication skills for translating technical configuration detail into business outcomes, with a pragmatic approach to balancing compliance and team member experience.

Exposure to HRIS, CRM, collaboration, identity, and access-management applications beyond ERP.
Experience building or growing a small technology team, including hiring and role design.
Experience deploying AI tooling across corporate functions.
Experience leading remote or distributed teams.
Experience in a private-equity-backed, high-growth, or newly scaling business.
