Senior Director, AI Software Engineering

Location: Hybrid in the United States; residence in or near one of the collaboration hubs: Costa Mesa, San Jose, Allen, Austin, Franklin, New York, Schaumburg, Washington, Atlanta, Boston, or Seattle.

Base salary: $137,102–$246,784 annually, with eligibility for variable pay.

What you will do

• Lead a global strategy for embedding AI across the engineering organization and establish standards for delivery speed and quality.
• Manage and mentor engineering leaders across three countries and build a collaborative, experimentation-driven culture.
• Modernize the software development lifecycle with AI tools for code generation, testing, and localization.
• Drive company-wide adoption, security compliance, and training for GitHub, Claude, Copilot, Cursor AI, and Amazon Kiro.
• Advance intent-driven development, including spec-driven AI-DLC frameworks and Model Context Protocol integrations.
• Integrate AI into React frontends, .NET and Java microservices, Salesforce, and MuleSoft while balancing delivery speed with enterprise security and compliance.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software application development experience.
• 5+ years leading multi-layered engineering organizations, including managing managers and distributed international teams.
• Hands-on technical management experience with AWS, .NET, Java, React, Salesforce, and MuleSoft.
• Experience in B2B2C, B2B, or high-scale B2C SaaS environments, including architecture complexity, tenant isolation, and data privacy requirements.
• Direct experience deploying and scaling AI development tools such as GitHub, Claude, Copilot, Cursor AI, and Kiro across an engineering organization.
• Experience building products with an AI-DLC process, including application-level integrations and agentic AI tools such as Amazon Kiro.
• A track record of leading major technical or cultural transformations, such as DevOps, cloud migration, or AI tool rollouts, across large distributed engineering teams.
• Residence in or near the designated collaboration hubs for this role.
