Lead Instructor: Data Center Technician (Data Center Operations)

Location: Remote; preference for providing instruction in the Eastern Time zone.

What you will do

• Prepare and lead live virtual classroom sessions for 30–300 learners.
• Manage class-time Q&A, chat flow, pacing, energy, and learner engagement.
• Collaborate with operations personnel to ensure smooth program delivery and adherence to schedules.
• Contribute to classes on weekdays and/or weekends as program schedules vary.
• Assist with lesson design, curriculum development, and course improvements.
• Provide thoughtful feedback to the hirify.global team and support a positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Experience working in physical data centers or similar environments.
• Strong teaching, training, facilitation, coaching, or onboarding experience, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to beginner learners.
• Experience mentoring or supervising if there is no prior teaching experience.
• Excellent communication skills, including professional verbal and written English.
• Ability to engage and support adult learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Empathy, flexibility, patience, and a desire to support learners transitioning into data center operations and infrastructure careers.
• Ability to prepare adequately for lectures and adjust lesson pace and presentation to meet diverse learner needs while delivering content on time.
• Availability for lectures on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET from January 11 to April 30, 2027.
